Medications at Camp

We want to make sure your child stays healthy and safe while at camp, which means we follow a few simple steps for managing medications.

Medications in the Right Containers

Please send any prescription or over-the-counter medications in their original containers, clearly labeled with your child’s name, the dosage, and how it should be taken.

Authorization from a Doctor

For both prescription and over-the-counter medications (including vitamins and homeopathic treatments), we’ll need written approval from your child’s healthcare provider.

Complete Medical Forms

We’ll also need a completed medical form for your child—this is required by law to ensure we have all the info we need to care for them properly.

Immunizations

If your child’s immunizations are up-to-date, we’ll just need a copy of their immunization record. If you have any concerns or your child is exempt from certain immunizations, we’ll have forms available for you to complete.
